The $450 to $525 figures are two national providers' published legal-test prices as of September 2026 and may change. Other columns describe typical mail-in kit and lab-chain offerings, not any specific company. We are not affiliated with any of them.
Three things to know
If a child under 18 is being tested and the parents are not married to each other, the child's mother must consent. She can attend or sign consent in advance. Without it the laboratory cannot process the child's sample.
If you have an open court or agency case, confirm what that case requires before booking. A privately purchased test follows chain-of-custody procedure, but the court or agency decides what it will accept.
Bring government photo ID for every adult. The consenting parent brings ID for a minor.

Who you're dealing with
A private collection office, not a clinic
Truestone Testing is a specimen-collection service operated by AuraVenture LLC in San Diego. Your appointment is handled by our collector, who checks photo ID, witnesses every swab and seals the samples in front of you. The collector has no connection to anyone being tested; that independence is part of the chain-of-custody procedure.
Analysis is performed by an independent AABB-accredited laboratory, and your report is issued on that laboratory's letterhead. We are a collection site, not a laboratory, medical office, law firm or government agency, and we are not affiliated with any court or county office.
